Search Process
HAX International applies a proven and rigorous search process
designed to ensure high standards of performance and client
satisfaction. Our systematic and professional approach for conducting
executive search assignments includes the steps below: |
Step
1: Needs Assessment and Position Specification
Working as a business partner with the client, we analyze
our client's needs based on a thorough understanding of
the company's business and culture. We hold in-depth discussions
with the HR department as well as the individual Hiring
Manager, so as to determine the responsibilities of the
position, the qualifications required of the ideal candidate,
and criteria for success. This specification guides our
search efforts. |

Step
2: Strategy Development and Research
We work with our client to develop a customized search
strategy, including target industry sectors and companies,
which will most likely to result in the identification
of the most qualified candidate. We analyze current market
conditions and review our client's competitors' organizational
and executive talent strategies. Drawing on research resources,
extensive marketplace contacts, our experience with previous
executive search engagements, we identify industries and
companies where qualified candidates are likely to be
found. |

Step
3: Candidates Identification and Evaluation
Through our extensive range of contacts in the target
industries, we develop a list of initial candidates. We
make selective calls to sources and prospects to identify
and interest qualified prospective candidates by analyzing
all the facts that we gather. We conduct face-to-face
interviews with potential candidates to evaluate their
character, qualifications, motivation, strengths, and
areas for improvement on the basis of experience and potential
cultural fit with our client's organization. |

Step
4: Presentation of Candidates and Client/Candidate Interviews
We will submit confidential detailed information on two
to four candidates who most closely fit the specifications
of the position and who best meet our client's organizational
culture. These reports contain detailed information on
a candidate's background and our in-depth comments on
his or her potential ˇ°fitˇ± with the client. We schedule
a mutually convenient meeting between our client and the
candidates, ensuring that both parties are fully briefed
in advance of any interview in order to produce useful
results. Following each interview, we contact both the
client and the candidates for feedback. |

Step
5: Referencing of Successful Candidate
When our client selects a final candidate, we will conduct
confidential reference checks by contacting relevant individuals
who are capable of providing insight about the candidate's
qualifications. The collective comments made by these
references are then reviewed with the client. |

Step
6: Search Completion and Follow-up
As the search comes to a close, we assist in compensation
negotiations, address issues relating to career progression,
and consult the offered candidate in the process of resignation
from their previous employer to ensure a smooth transition.
Our involvement continues after the successful candidate
is in place to support their successful integration into
the client 's team through periodic phone calls and visits
with both the client and the candidate. |

| Time Frame A typical search project takes approximately 2 weeks
to source, identify and evaluate the candidates and present
a shortlist of candidates for our client's consideration.
From then onwards, the timing will depend on the selection
process as well as the selected candidate's notice time. If
we can quicken the process and present candidates earlier,
we will make every effort to do so. |
